Boubal ovládl celkové pořadí Táborských okruhů
Letošnímu ročníku Táborských okruhů vládl Martin Boubal (CK Příbram – Fany Gastro). Stejně jako ve dvou předchozích závodech zvítězil, čímž se stal zaslouženým králem letošního ročníku. Obhájil tak loňské prvenství a nezastavil ho ani Michael Boroš (ČEZ Cyklo Team Tábor), s kterým se v posledním závodu zbylým 26 cyklistům utrhli.
Celkový vítěz Martin Boubal předvedl s Michaelem Borošem parádní únik ve dvou. Oba tak nasbírali rekordní počet bodů. Ve druhém dílu získal Boubal 45 bodů, v posledním dokonce 80 bodů. „Takový průběh jsem vůbec nečekal. Startovalo dost závodníků, sparťani přijeli skoro kompletní. Ve spurtech jsem očekával, že to bude více napínavé,“ hodnotil zaražený vítěz. Boroše předstihl o 3 body, proto mu ani nevadilo, že s domácím závodníkem prohrál poslední bodování v samotném závěru. „Jak jsme jeli jen dva, ve vedení a ve sbírání bodů jsme se střídali, dali jsme si vlastně časovku. Před posledním bodováním bylo rozhodnuto, takže nevadí, že ho Michael vyhrál. Kdyby šlo do tuhého, šel bych do posledního spurtu naplno. Bylo to pro nás i bezpečnější, jeli jsme si svoje tempo,“ prozradil Boubal.
Elitní závod se tak od předchozích dvou podstatně lišil. Boubal s Borošem si jeli svoje bez ohledu na oddílové kolegy. Vítězný Boubal by ale viděl rád na stupních vítězů právě i své oddílové kolegy. „Finále jsem tedy vypustil. Byl jsem spíš zvědavý, jak závod zvládnou naši kluci vzadu. Třeba jestli Vojta Modlitba poskočí na třetí místo. Tohle se nepovedlo, ale jeli jsme dobře. Osobně jsem s celými Táborskými okruhy spokojený. Vyhrál jsem všechny tři závody. Já už jsem starý, spíš jsem chtěl, aby se prosadili mladí kluci z našeho oddílu. Vojta Modlitba je hodně mladý, loni se s námi skoro nebavil a letos je schopný se prát o stupně vítězů na kritérium. Když na sobě bude makat, má v něm náš tým velkou budoucnost,“ zamyslel se vítěz.
